In the afternoon on Thursday the 11th of February, BouT will pay a visit to the MX3D workshop at the NDSM wharf in the North of Amsterdam. We will visit the workshop of the 3D printed steel bridge. This is a special occasion where we are offered a look behind the scenes beyond visiting hours.
MX3D is a company that researches and develops groundbreaking robotic 3D print technology. Their robots print sustainable materials such as metals and synthetics in virtually any size or shape. The engineers, craftsmen and software experts bring together digital technology, robotics and traditional industrial production.
The excursion is 5 euros for BouT members! We will organise a Lunch. We will leave travel by public transport. (cost are not in the ticket).
Keep in mind that the workshop may be cold.
