BouT is the study association for Building Technology of the Faculty of Architecture, TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). We are a platform for students & alumni, PhD students, researchers and other academic staff and commercial enterprises. Within our network, we aim to exchange Building Technology related knowledge and experience. BouT is led by the board, with the help of 6 committees all working together to bring exciting and meaningful opportunities to our over 100 Building Technology students.
Mission
As BouT, our mission is to provide a platform for students to explore the vast opportunities offered in Building Technology innovation within TU Delft and beyond. We aim to enhance student experiences and offer opportunities for academic and professional growth. Our goal is to showcase various career paths after Building Technology and create positive connections between students, the faculty, and professionals. We strive to connect our fellow students with the different Master Tracks at TU Delft and also see BouT as a connection between students and alumni.
To achieve these aims, our six dedicated BouT committees organize a wide range of activities. The Events committee organizes educational events, workshops, and social gatherings. The Rumoer committee is a quarterly magazine that covers diverse topics and features contributors from various international backgrounds. Our Company Relations committee is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with companies, securing sponsorships, and managing the budget. The Study Trips committee organizes visits to companies and excursions in the Netherlands and abroad. The Social Media committee actively collaborates with all committees to promote our work inside and outside of the faculty. It utilizes digital and analogue methods to communicate to our students, TU Delft and the industry. The Education committee acts as a bridge between the faculty and students, and strengthens the education within the Building Technology.

Our vision is to be recognized as a bridge between the faculty, the students and the industry. We aspire to be the driving force behind students’ personal and professional growth, enabling them to excel in their studies, expand their networks, and succeed in their future careers. We aim for BouT to be a main connector between students and alumni, to promote their work and create long lasting connections and friendships.
