Why Choose DGMR?
- Meaningful Projects: You’ll work on high-profile, innovative projects that shape the built environment—think of iconic buildings like Valley or the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam or Boogiewood in The Hague. Your work will have a real impact on society and the future of sustainable living. We are unique in a way that we combine both Building Physics, Acoustics, Façade Technology, Fire Safety and Software and use both parametric scripting and our new 7D platform as are newest tools for designing in the early stages.
- Personal and Professional Growth: At DGMR, you’re not just another intern. You’ll be part of a team, collaborating with experienced professionals and fellow students from around the world. You’ll gain hands-on experience, from building inspections and technical measurements to advanced calculations and sustainability assessments such as BREEAM, WELL, LEED and ESG.
- Supportive, International Environment: Our informal, open culture makes it easy to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from each other. We value your unique perspective and encourage you to bring your own research interests to the table.
- Expert Guidance: You’ll be mentored by senior specialists and project leaders who are passionate about sharing their knowledge on building physics. Regular check-ins ensure you’re supported throughout your journey, whether you’re interning or working on your graduation thesis.
- Room for Self-Development: Beyond technical skills, you’ll develop soft skills like teamwork, communication, and project management—qualities that are highly valued by employers worldwide.
- A Launchpad for Your Career: Many of our former interns and graduates have gone on to successful careers in the Netherlands, at DGMR and beyond. Your time at DGMR will boost your CV and expand your professional network.
What’s Important for (International) Students?
