November 17th 12:00-14:00 at BK-Zuidserre: Building a Leonardo Dome
November 19th 09:30-16:15 at BK: Symposium Ars et Mathesis 2011 [lectures are in Dutch]
Art and Mathematics are two disciplines that can be integrated to get interesting visual results. In the architectural world we see a new trend of using mathematical patterns to create interesting building designs. Ars et Mathesis (Art and Mathematics) is a platform for people who share an interest for the intersection of art and mathematics. A symposium is held at the faculty of Architecture to inspire each other and learn new aspects of this very interesting world. Come and join us at the symposium or join us at the building of the Leonardo dome the 17th of November!
